Here's a list of common issues a Member may have in your Ecosystem and the solution.
Logo upload not working
Use smaller image size
Phone number is invalid
Phone numbers used for Companies must be valid (so your users can’t select 222-222-2222, unless that happens to be their business’ phone number).
Address is invalid
This is only applicable in ecosystems using a Salesforce integration. For United States companies, addresses are verified using the USPS standards, your users may see a message pertaining to any invalid elements of their business address. To fix this issue, the user will need to fix any elements of their address that don’t adhere to this standard.
Password too short
Password must be at least 8 characters
Email already taken
If a user sees the error message that the email they’ve entered is already taken, that means, well, the email is already in the ecosystem database. If you’ve invited users yourself they may not understand, or have forgotten, that they don’t have to create an account. Use the following fixes for this issue:
- Check email for a confirmation email.
- Reset Password
Account not confirmed
This is one of the most crucial elements of the creation process. Accounts must be confirmed within 3 days, forgetting to confirm the account will lead to further confusion and frustration because, since they’ve already created their account at this point, users won’t understand why they aren’t able to access it. Make sure your users check their inbox for the confirmation email. Go through the following steps to fix this issue.
- Check Inbox
- Check Spam/Junk
- If not in email, resend confirmation by following the steps below:
- Enter email address
- Click Resend confirmation instructions
